		<title>[Resource] Freelancer QuickFix Patch v1.0c and Freelancer SDK v1.3b &amp; v1.5b15 by Louva-Deus</title>

<summary type="text/plain">Greetings from the =EOA= Players Consortium! I have some updates available for you today that are quite important for anyone who likes playing Freelancer, hosting Freelancer servers, or making mods for Freelancer.. so basically everybody. There has been a lot of confusion lately regarding which patches to use, what order to install them in, and what the difference is between the patches and the SDK. Well I'm here to set the record straight for everyone.

Freelancer QuickFix Patch
This patch supercedes all patches released by any community member, even my older ones and the SDK. This package has been specially formulated to replace all known patches for the game outside of Microsoft's official 1.1 server patch. This means that you are not supposed to install any other patches before OR after this one, you are only supposed to use this one. The QuickFix is NOT compatible with any other patches or SDKs so don't install anything else. Additionally, from now on the Microsoft 1.1 patch will no longer be a part of this package and server admins will have to install it separately. Server admins need to also take note that Microsoft's patch is ONLY useful for servers and players DO NOT need to install it unless they are experiencing severe problems with the game.

There is a new version of the QuickFix patch available here on our website and soon from Lancer's Reactor. This version fixes a certain compatibility problem experienced ONLY on Vanilla Freelancer servers. The cause of the problem was mismatched loadout configurations for stations that are based on ship models, like the Battleship Essex in the Dublin system. The conflict arises between players that are running a vanilla copy of the game and those who have any of the older unofficial patches or the SDK installed, as these are not compatible. Mod servers are not affected by this problem. All players experiencing this crash and all server admins who are running a Vanilla server need to download the new version (1.0c) of the QuickFix patch. Also, this version of the QuickFix includes my Freelancer Web Launcher so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of this awesome new feature to the game experience.

Download Freelancer QuickFix Patch v1.0c

Freelancer SDK
This package was designed to offer a clean codebase for mod makers to work from and should not be used as a game patch. I repeat, DO NOT use the SDK as a game patch! The SDK is not a 100% compatible with the original game and certain parts of the clean code will cause the client to crash when playing on Vanilla (non-patched) servers. For this reason mod makers need to understand that they need to test and verify that their mods will work with non-patched servers and clients. This will not affect mods that include the SDK itself, or parts of it, into its codebase. This only affects mods that do not redistribute the actual ini files from the SDK, e.g. FLMM XML script based mods.

To eliminate some of the difficulty with grasping the proper use of the SDK I have decided to only distribute it in a ZIP archive from now on. Some have requested this and it makes things easier in many ways. Also, without the installer automatically trying to install the SDK into your Freelancer directory those compatibility problems are taken care of.

Download Freelancer SDK v1.3b or v1.5b15

I hope that clears up all the misunderstandings for everyone. If not then you can contact me through the brand new =EOA= Players Consortium Forums.</summary>

Freelancer Explorer v2.0.6.23:

The latest version of Freelancer Explorer from Colin Sanby is now available! There are too many changes to mention but there is one key thing to know: FLMM script support has been disabled because the format has changed so much that it is now incompatible with Freelancer Explorer.

This will mean that you will have to either work on your systems separate from the rest of your mod, or simply not use the xml scripting feature in FLMM. This will be inconvenient for some people but for the time being there is nothing we can do about it.

Be sure to read the readme file for the list of changes.
